My Magic Land

A magical adventure full of love fun and tenderness.

From dancing plants and animals, to souring with friends through the skies upon clouds. From fishing on a bout that brings you the many potentials of your imagination, to the River of Laughter where a mysterious lady plays the piano with the drops of water from its cascade. And the magical crystal dimensions where anything can be created and where the main character creates an inseparable friend, her cat called "Yes".

For children and adults who have kept their child soul.

How it came to life.

One day I asked myself: what would I create for myself to enjoy life on Earth? I would create my own Paradise, I thought. What does Paradise look to me?, was my second thought. A beautiful piece of land with rivers, lakes and all sorts of animals, I answered myself. And friends, I also thought, to share beautiful experiences with. And I made a couple of tiny drawings.
Some time later I wrote down some of the experiences I would like to enjoy, and so, "My magic Land" was coming to life, because many of the experiences I would like to enjoy are indeed magical, and many others are just about enjoying the true beauty of life.
Then I began creating the illustrations for my book and let my imagination run wild. I saw that there were more stories within them, though I didn´t write them down. They are there to discover, to take me into a magical journey each time different.
When I look at them I see them coming to life, I hear their jokes, I feel their love; they accompany me during my day and life becomes magical and fun.

Reviews

Nayu's thoughts
What first appealed to me was Begona's soft and warm looking illustrations, simply looking at them makes me feel serene. I felt this was both a picture book and a poetry book, because there's a beautiful melodic feel to the words as imagination is explored, leading to fun characters and new places to explore. There is so much to look at on every image, from the full page illustrations to the smaller ones that fit alongside the prose.
I can tell Begona had fun writing this, and is someone to whom boredom probably never exists with that vivid an imagination. It makes me feel like lazy summer days lying in the sunshine, or being cozy warm in winter as it drizzles with rain outside. This isn't a one-time read book, but one to return to when life is crazy and I need a break from the world.

That's a beautiful review indeed. I haven't much to add to it, other than it's sort of like the sun starts shining when I open one of your books. Yes I like them, I'm going to show them to my daughter.

Love doesn't need words

"Love doesn't need words" is the first of a series about love and friendship for children. It's a book with no text, for the illustrations are self explanatory and therefor for all ages even for the little ones that don't know how to read yet.
This first title is about a girl and her cat, and how when they first met each other it was love at first sight.

What a Journey!

This is just my version of creation. I wrote this story after asking myself how did I (and all of humanity) get here. Isn’t this what we all ask ourselves? And then I sat still with a pen and paper in my hands and slowly but fluently this “poem” started pouring through my mind and hands in such a simple and beautiful way that I could feel this amazing journey as I wrote it. Maybe it is just a fantasy, an imaginary story that I wrote but that’s beautiful too, for what is there more beautiful and freeing than imagination. I invite you to take this journey with me. What a journey it has been! From All that Was to All that Is Who am I? You might think. My name is True, My story glistens, My color is gold, So listen…In the beginning there is no end, In every end there is always a beginning, And this story that I will tell, Is my story and yours as well. Before the beginning of time and space, Before the creation of human race, This story starts in a different way...
